Florian Achatzy

I am a Berlin-based freelance drummer and producer. I studied at Los Angeles College of Music with greats like Ralph Humphrey, Joe Porcaro and Mike Shapiro. Ever since then I had the opportunity to work, record and tour with many great artists. Among many I wanna name German Jazz/Chanson singer Kitty Hoff, with whom I released a record on the legendary Blue Note Label. Besides touring and recording with different artists my record contains TV appearances with artists like Sting, Robbie Williams, Bryan Adams and others. Since 2016 I am the General Manager and artist director of the Berlin jazz club LOCI LOFT. My professional profile is characterized by quite a wide range of styles and genres. The Zildjian product range gives me the opportunity to find the right sound for each situation.
