  • WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

Music played with passion inspires me. Reading a great book or listening to a great lecture inspires me. My family inspires me daily. I find inspiration in things done with excellence and heart.

  • WORDS OF WISDOM FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF DRUMMERS

My advice for the next generation of musicians is pretty simple: Listen! Don't ever stop listening! Find new music, music you wouldn't normally listen to. Be inspired by others' passion for their instrument. Then take a little piece of that inspiration and put it into your playing. Pretty soon you'll be inspiring others in the same way you've been inspired!

  • FAVORITE ZILDJIAN CYMBAL/COMBO

My favorite cymbal is a 90's K Heavy Ride I acquired several years ago. The name, "Heavy Ride" might sound daunting, but this cymbal is one of the most balanced, beautiful cymbals I've ever played!
