Jason Oosthuizen is a renowned South African drummer & musician. He started playing drums at the age 4, and since then has gone on to play in some of the best bands to come out of South Africa.
He has also done session and live work for Van Coke Kartel, Jack Parow, Fokofpolisiekar, Die Heuwels Fantasties & The Narrow, and for the last 4 years has been part of the Blood Brothers concerts in support of The Vrede Foundation.
Since 2017 he has created the show-stopping tribute shows, Led Zeppelin Tribute, Guns N Roses & Friends Tribute, AC/DC vs Deep Purple Tribute, Bryan Adams Tribute and Bob Marley & Lenny Kravitz Tribute taking to the stage with some of South Africa's biggest local music legends to play sold out shows across the country. This was also the start of Oooth Entertainment, the brand name. Jason also created Speed Wagon and City on Fire cover bands as well as Punk n Roll Drummer/DJ duo.
In September 2018, JASON broadened his musical horizons to singer/songwriter position as frontman of OOOTH. JASON has written, recorded and produced most of the project himself and performs for OOOTH with full band. Since then Oooth has brought out a full debut album, acoustic album and various singles. Jason has also created Oooth Clothing, Oooth Coffee and Oooth Wine.
In July 2018, JASON launched his own signature snare drum range, entitled J.O Drums which are the first of its kind in Africa.
