I fell in love with drumming back in fifth grade when the high school drumline performed at a school assembly. I had never seen or heard anything like it before and I knew that that was what I wanted to do.
From there, I joined percussion classes and Drumline throughout middle and high school. I’d always dreamed of being in a band and performing live. In high school, my friends and I would jam whenever we could, but it never really evolved beyond that.
Then in 2016, I met Josh Harmon, and we formed The Backseat Lovers. Since then, I’ve been in and out of the studio and on and off the road with my brothers—Josh, KJ, and Jonas. We’ve continued to write, record, and play shows whenever we can.
I’m forever grateful for the opportunity to do what I love and to call it my career.
