He began his career in the 80s as a member of the Youth Symphony Orchestra in south of Spain. At the end of the 90s, he expanded his career as a drummer of genres such as Jazz, Blues, Flamenco, Rock, Pop, Fusion, etc. Also making recordings, tours and TV with national and international artists. He currently resides in Tokyo, has his own band "JOSE COLON PROJECT" highlighting his original sound, fusing Flamenco and Jazz, and also works with artists such as: TAMAKI Koji, OKI Jin, etc.
