Dedicated to the drums for roughly 15 years, Catarina Henriques, with her alter ego KATARI HEAVY MACHINERY, joined the 'Drums cause' as a passionate follower of the music and ideals movement MSHC - Margem Sul Hardcore (South Side Hardcore).
Later, she would become one of the founders of the band Anarchicks, existing for 11 years, of which she is part as a drummer, composer and Anarchick in body and soul. With this band, she participated in festivals such as Super Bock Super Rock and MeshFest, as well as in several festivals and concert halls in Spain and France, even playing at the mythical Moulin Rouge. More recently, in 2020, she joined The Legendary Tigerman project, with which she has already shared some stages such as 'Casa da Música', the program 'O Eléctrico' for RTP, Festival Vilar de Mouros, among others.
When she's not at the forefront of the musical battle at the controls of the drums, she's playing with words and ideas as a copywriter, advertising creative or else making gastronomic puns with her rubric # al_moça
Nowadays she is building her first solo work, bringing to life her twisted magical, sometimes dark other times neon dream world.
