I got into music at a very young age, because of my brother. It was always his dream to become a professional musician. Through school and college, I performed along with my brother and a few other bands in college. After moving to Mumbai, I took up a job as the brand manager for brands like Zildjian, Peal and Evans in India, via Furtados Music. We had just started our band SANAM (previously known as SQS Project) around that time. After winning a pan India competition with over 1200 artists taking part, we won a 3 year music contract with Times Music. After which we decided to take up the challenge of independently working towards building up the concept of bands in India (as there have been no immensely successful bands in India till date). From that time till now, we have managed to build close to 9.5 million subscribers on youtube, with over 1.8 Billion lifetime views independently. We also continue to tour India and the world, performing stand alone SANAM concerts. As a band, we have a lot more to accomplish, we hope to bring about a bigger change in the Indian Music industry for future bands.

I have been a Zildjian fan all my life. I took it as a challenge to bring Zildjian up as the number one cymbal brand in India and managed to accomplish all my goals through out my time in Furtados. Since then, as a Zildjian artist, nothing makes me happier than to travel the world promoting and showing off my beautiful Zildjian collection at all our concerts to a global audience. I consider myself lucky and fortunate to be living my dream and to be associated with the Zildjian family for over 12 years now.
