  • WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

Watching videos of the drumming legends often gets me excited. I love going back in time and watching videos of Gene Krupa, who was the ultimate showman. I also am really inspired by a wide range of drummers, including Louie Bellson, Steve Jordan, JJ Johnson, Terri Lyne Carrington, Dave Grohl, Jay Bellerose, JR Robinson, Adam Deitch, and Dan Weiss to name a few. Outside of music I find inspiration in travel, being in nature, and yoga.

  • WORDS OF WISDOM FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF DRUMMERS

Listen to a wide variety of music, not just current top 40. Invest in relationships, and put in the time on your instrument. Find an honest mentor who will challenge you and keep you accountable. Play with as many bands and musicians as possible, especially if you are a drummer. Great drummers need to be confident but remember to stay humble and listen to those around you.

  • FAVORITE ZILDJIAN CYMBAL/COMBO

I have always been in love with my 22" Constantinople Medium thin low ride.
