Mar Dizon

Mar Dizon, a pioneer Zildjian Ambassador from the Philippines since 1995 has four decades in his musical career of countless performances both recording and live with only the finest musicians in the planet. He co-founded popular groups like Side A, Artstart, Buhay and was a member of acid jazz band Parliament Syndicate. Recently , He was a major part of the success of revived musical noon time tv show Tawag ng Tanghalan in ABS-CBN channel 2. He was awarded twice as a composer and arranger at the Katha Music Awards and once at the Awit Awards as a composer as well. He currently plays with AKASHA and The Hermit and he teaches at the Progressive Drum Methods.
