Born in St. Louis Missouri, had a strong desire for music (particularly drums) at 2 years of age. Winning various awards in Highschool such as the lead drummer in the œSt. Louis All Suburban Jazz Band and the œMO All State Jazz Band, he went on to study at The New School University in New York City. He has been honored to perform, produce, and write music with the best of the best in various genres with the likes of: Kanye West, Jay Z, Common, Lalah Hathaway, Kenny Garrett, Lizz Wright, Mos Def, Bilal, Robert Glasper, Q-tip, A Tribe Called Quest, and Erykah Badu just to name a few.
He has appeared drumming for various artist on mainstream television broadcasts such as The Tonight Show w/Jimmy Fallon, The Conan Show, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show and is a Grammy Award winner for his work with The Robert Glasper Experiment. Mark appreciates Gods gift and aims to share it to the world.
