Michael Culligan

Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra

Appointed Associate Principal Percussionist of the Cincinnati Symphony by Louis Langrae in 2015, Michael formerly served as a regular extra in the Pittsburgh Symphony and 2nd percussion in both the West Virginia and Canton Symphonies.

He earned a B.S. in Music Education at Duquesne University and a M.M. at Temple University.

A proud Zildjian and Decibel Percussion artist, Michael is the owner/founder of Culligan Sticks and an artistic director for Concert:NOVA. He can also be found on the ice playing defense for the Cincinnati Huns or watching Penguins hockey with his cats Sidney Clawsby, Kris Lefang, and Rusty.
