Niko Cabrera started playing drums at the age of 12 and now is a professional drummer, Berklee College of Music certified music producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. 5 times Latin Grammy nominee, awarded as the best drummer on the Colombian national radio œRadionica. He is one of the most recognized drummers in his country, with more than 23 years of experience playing with his group Doctor Krapula, an important conscious mestizo rock band from Latin America.
Working with artists such as Manu Chao, Celso Pina, Juanes, Los Caligaris, Francisco el hombre, Ruban Albarran (Cafa Tacuba), Alfonso Andra (Caifanes), Gustavo Cordera (Bersuit Vergaraba), Roco Pachucote (La Maldita Vecindad), Chucho Merchan (Eurythmics), Dubioza Collective among others. At the end of 2019 Niko Cabrera released his parallel project as an independent solo drummer of experimental instrumental music.
