Sami Kizilbash is a Singapore-based drummer frequently performing and recording with close friend and musician, Anirudh Singh Chohan. In 2007, Sami joined The Darling DeMaes, a Montreal-based indie rock band. In 2008, the DeMaes recorded their first full-length studio album A User's Guide To Raising the Dead (Songs of Spring) at Mountain City Studios with producer Joseph Donovan (Sam Roberts Band, The Dears). In 2009 the group recorded a second album Houses under the name Holland Creek. Sami has lived in Singapore since 2009 and oversees Google's internal music community and studio "Kaya Jam Studio", which he founded in 2017.
