Square Peg Round Hole is an instrumental percussion-based trio described by NPRs Bob Boilen as a œcreative adventure. Evan Chapman, Sean M. Gill, and Carlos Pacheco-Perez utilize drums, vibraphone, samples, found objects, and synths to create music that draws on elements from post-rock, electronic, ambient, and contemporary classical genres.
Square Peg Round Hole formed in 2011 while studying at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, and has since performed across the US, sharing bills with The Bad Plus, Kneebody, Dawn of Midi, So Percussion, Rafiq Bhatia, and touring the East Coast with The Mercury Program and Son Luxs Ian Chang.
