Currently based out of LA, Steph now plays with artists Coast Modern and Kate Nash. She graduated from Berklee College of Music, where she not only earned her degree but was also awarded the Terri Lyne Carrington Scholarship for Outstanding Female Musicianship. Her groove and stage presence are what make her unique behind the kit. Also, her insanely large curly hair!

WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
I am inspired by production. By opening up my drumming world, I've been able to dive deeper into music. Creating it, and learning to play other instruments has inspired me to build stronger drum parts/grooves.
WORDS OF WISDOM FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF DRUMMERS
My advice would be of course to practice and take the time to master your instrument. The learning process never ends, but having a solid foundation before getting on the gig helps you hit the curveballs thrown your way.
