"The sound is fantastic! Really cuts through the mix. Unfortunately the tops only last a year or so before they start to crack, due to my heavy playing, but I'll keep playing them!"
"I was fortunate enough to find a like new pair of these on ebay for 250 dollars. Even years ago when I bought them new they were double the price. So I got a great deal. I was new to 15s at the time and most I experienced were unwieldy. These were perfect. Not to heavy with plenty of articulation. I had been playing for years at that point. All the major brands. Unfortunately life has a way of changing so I sold them. Zildjian was the first real cymbals I played. Although I occasionally stray I always wind up coming back. When I have the luxury I sonically match my cymbals bright and dark. If you guys ever bring back the k custom 22" ride I'm back. The last album I did was in 2006. I played a combination of Zildjians on that record all recorded beautifully."

"Have always preferred the 14 inch hi hat.... size and clarity performs 90 percent of the music intros and backfills I need. Warm sound, cutting through the music just enough to produce the back stop I want for a selected riff, or embellishment. Might consider bumping up to a 15 inch in the K sweet cymbal package. A new versatility and option in progressive/jazz selections.... that extra 10 percent I might be looking for."
