"These have been my favorite sticks for over 20 years. They seem to be hard to find these days. The picture on the sale page are nylon tip, so I immediately bought some. . . . . Turns out the sample picture is a different stick and they're indeed only available in wood. Should've read closer haha. Happy to have any version, wish they were nylon"
"The weight is perfect, the width is also perfect. My favorite aspect also is the length. It allows for a "whip" feel and using fulcrum to maximum effect. My perfect stick."

"I used these for about 20 years, they were perfect sticks for all types of music but I think they were discontinued. Tried a Vater Extreme 5b which was similar in size but the feel and the balance was not as good. Please bring these Z Super 5B’s back!"

The Zildjian Super 5B Natural Hickory Drumsticks (ZS5BW) are perfect for Heavy Hard-Rock and Metal! Natural Wood (S5BWN)/(ZS5B), Black Wood (S5BWB), Natural Nylon (S5BNN) = Awesomeness! I only ever liked the Diameter: .595 inches (1.51 cm), anything else over the years has been too heavy and unwieldy. So .595 inch Diameter is absolutely perfect for proper control and strength, as well as the overall drumsticks shape of the neck and shoulder for accuracy and speed!!! And that’s what I want to stick with, pun intended. The Super 5B’s have the additional reach I require of 16.5 inches, and the durability of Vic Firth’s U.S. Hickory construction methods. Zildjian’s Super 5B’s Wood Tips have a really nice slightly elongated Barrel-Tip which is perfect! Unfortunately the Nylon Tip version (ZS5BNN) has a slightly different shaped Tip :( which I do not like. In my opinion, both versions of the Wood Tips and Nylon Tips should have the same shaped Tips. Zildjian, I wish the Super 5B Drumsticks were more readily available, especially here and on Amazon, since I do not have a local drum store anymore. REQUEST: Please bring back the awesome Super 5B (ZS5B) Hickory Drumsticks, and especially (ZS5BWB) in the BLACK version! Thanks And Zildjian/Vic Firth needs to Re-Market the Super 5A and Super 5B Drumsticks properly to get the word out there to your loyal drumming customers."
