A Zildjian Hall of Fame member, Elvin Jones was honored at the first American Drummer Achievement Awards in 1998. This shirt celebrates Elvin's longstanding friendship with the Zildjian family and his many contributions to the drumming community throughout the years. Elvin's sense of timing, polyrhythms, and phrasing helped to bring the drumset to the foreground and dubbed him “the world’s greatest rhythm drummer.” His groundbreaking artistry has continued to influence generations of drummers.
