Jeffrey Arévalo
Goose
Jeffrey was raised in Sarasota, Florida surrounded by a massive record collection amassed by his father and older brother. Although he didn’t get a drumset until he was 15, he started playing professionally after just a couple lessons. Graduating high school in 2006 he decided to stay in Florida to continue studying and performing locally. He attended State College of Florida and under the guidance of Professor Marc Mannino he was able to audition and receive a scholarship to Berklee College of Music. It was at Berklee that Jeffrey would meet Rick Mitarotonda, who would later form the band Goose. At Berklee Jeffrey studied many styles of music and even taught himself to play bass. Upon graduating he returned to southern Florida for a few years before returning to New England and joining Goose the band in 2020. Jeffrey has recorded three studio albums with Goose and several live albums and compilations. They are currently touring and play upwards of 80 shows a year with their first European tour approaching this November. Jeffrey proudly endorses C&C drums, LP percussion, and Zildjian cymbals.
