Maciej Golyzniak, drummer, composer and producer. Leader of jazz trio. His album œThe Orchid was released in 2020 as volume 85th in legendary and prestigious Polish Jazz series. Sought after session player, workshop tutor and educator.
From the very start of his career he has consciously worked out his individual language. He plays with a dark, warm and full sound; his extremely precise execution is grounded in excellent drumming technique. This individual manner of playing, combined with an exceptional sense of style, characterize his numerous record appearances, from pop to progressive rock and alternative music, to his own jazz trio. His high sensitivity is reflected in his subtle use of mood and colour.
