Trained at the Juilliard School, Grammy nominee Brian Slawson has appeared on NBCs Tonight Show, Entertainment Tonight and CBS News. Slawsons Sony Classical debut recording, œBach On Wood, hit Billboards Top 10. Brian has performed with Leonard Bernstein, Aaron Copland, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Freddie Hubbard, and as percussionist, has recorded with drummers Steve Gadd, Peter Erskine, Steve Ferrone, Anton Fig, Dave Weckl, Chris Parker and Grady Tate. In addition to being hailed as "a visionary, be it performer, producer or composer" by Modern Drummer magazine, Slawson is a featured performer at Lincoln Center's, Meet the Artist Series.
