Hi! My name is Devin Attard and I'm a 25 year old drummer from Detroit, MI based out of Nashville, TN! My whole life has been dedicated to the craft of drumming. My father gave me my first drum set at two years old, from there on I never thought about a single other thing I'd rather do with my life. I play in a band called The Word Alive but you might've seen me play for some country artists and other metal bands! When I was a kid my father always talked about Zildjian and how much he loves their cymbals. To be part of the Zildjian family is not only a dream come true for myself, but my father as well. No matter who you are or where you come from, anything is possible! You should always be proud of the tools you use to do what you love, and it's safe to say I am proud and honored to represent Zildjian Cymbals.

  • WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

    When I get the chance to hear about someone's passion and how much they love it, fueling that fire and encouraging them inspires me to work my hardest. The whole reason why I want to tour around the world and live in a bus for six months out of the year is to simply inspire others. I feel like it's this generation of drummers job to set up the next generation for success. The more hungry others are to succeed, the harder I want to go behind the kit. Inspiration is a revolving door! We could not inspire you if it wasn't for YOU inspiring US!

  • WORDS OF WISDOM FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF DRUMMERS

    Don't ever compare yourself to another drummer - we are ALL individuals, everyone is a unique player in their own way. Throughout the time you spend putting in Practice, Patience, and Persistence just know that all of your hard work will lead to opportunities one day. You want to set yourself up for when that time comes, and when it does it'll be YOUR turn to encourage the next generation of drummers. The drum community is a family, and you are part of the family!

  • FAVORITE ZILDJIAN CYMBAL/COMBO

    My favorite cymbal is most definitely the 19" ultra hammered China! I'll always be a metalhead at heart and this cymbal delivers a certain feel/sound that I've never been able to find anywhere else. I bet if you've never tried one, it'll be your new favorite as soon as you do!
