Growing up I listened to a lot of high energy music, bands like Slipknot, BMTH, Metallica, etc. I was always attracted to this driving force that seemed to control the music and make people want to move, it felt primal! I remember listening to ‘People = Sh*t’ by Slipknot and saying “That’s it! I want to be a drummer”. I started learning drums when I was 10, I’ve played with so many musicians over the years but the passion has never died.
I am in my element when playing in punk bands which has lead to some mental shows and amazing memories. I currently play with PET NEEDS and we’re always on the road, come to one of our shows and see for yourself 😉
I also perform in the session world from doing small recording projects with my friends bands or jumping into last minute gigs and learning on the songs on the spot.
