Chris Karabelas is a drummer and percussionist based in Nashville, TN.  His versatility has landed him gigs from Broadway Theaters to Arenas around the globe.  Chris is currently the percussionist for four-time Grammy award winning duo for King & Country and plays drums for Stephen Day.  His charismatic personality is evident in his musicianship and allows him to perform at the highest level in both percussion and drum set worlds.

    Don't compare yourself to others and find your own unique voice. Be as versatile as you can and always be open to learning new skills. Seek gigs where you are able to work with friends and people you enjoy being around; it makes the music all that much more fun to play.

  • FAVORITE ZILDJIAN CYMBAL/COMBO

    My favorite stack I've ever made is an 8" A Custom Splash on top of an 8" K Custom Dark Splash, then top it with any thin 8" splash of your choice (triple stack.) No need to compress the splashes down with felts, it already has a short decay and sounds like an 808 sample. Other than that I'm obsessed with the 20" K Constantinople Renaissance Ride.
