Glenn Chambers is the Irish-born drummer behind Brighton-based rock band The Big Push, a group whose identity was forged through live performance and a fiercely independent spirit. Raised in County Down, Ireland, Glenn relocated to Brighton to pursue music full time, where impromptu street sessions with future bandmates evolved into a globally recognised live band with a devoted international following.
The Big Push built their reputation through raw, high-energy busking performances that blend indie rock with elements of soul, funk, and modern alternative music. At the centre of that sound is Glenn’s drumming — groove-driven, dynamic, and rooted in feel. With a background in songwriting, he brings a musical perspective to the kit, prioritising groove, touch, and interaction within the band.
