Mimmo was born in Naples in 1981. Coming from a difficult background, he taught himself to play the drums. Despite participating in events and tours, his greatest motivation came in his hometown, seeing drummers considered "ordinary," who, in his opinion, gave him the greatest lesson of his life.
"Only in my city have I seen musicians who burned with passion for music, facing a thousand difficulties and letting themselves go on stage."
In 2013, he moved to northern Italy, where he continued his career. In 2021, after teaching at other schools, he decided to open his own music school. He is a composer, songwriter, and arranger. He has a YouTube channel where he makes video reviews.
His life philosophy is to experiment with new styles, be open to constructive criticism, and constantly push himself outside his comfort zone.
