Rick Marotta has played drums on many recordings, including hit records featuring Aretha Franklin, Carly Simon, Steely Dan, James Taylor, Paul Simon, John Lennon, Hall & Oates, Stevie Nicks, Wynonna, Roy Orbison, Todd Rundgren, Roberta Flack, Peter Frampton, Quincy Jones, Jackson Browne, Waylon Jennings, Randy Newman, Kenny G., the Jacksons, Crosby, Stills & Nash, and many others.
He has also worked extensively as a producer and music director. His production credits include, Carly Simon, Bryan Ferry, Warren Zevon, Sheena Easton, Dr. John , Nil Lara, Ben Taylor and others.
Rick's work extends to composing music for film and television on such shows as "Everybody Loves Raymond", "Yes Dear", "Center of the Universe", "Rude Awakening", “See Dad Run”, “The Winklers”, “Mr. Clown” and many others.
His Film credits include "Exporting Raymond", "Moola" and Andy Garcia's "Just the Ticket".
His experience has extended to all areas of the music business.
Rick currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Art Center/South Florida.
Most recently after completing his job as composer on the documentary “Sneakerheadz”, Rick has contributed his services as a drummer to the Beth Hart and Hannah Chapman albums.
