Louis Jassogne

Loic Nottet, Rori, and more.

I'm an independent drummer from Belgium.

I started playing at a very young age, around 7 years old, initially at a classical academy, then continuing at rock schools and taking private lessons. I later pursued studies in sound engineering so I could record myself properly while continuing to work hard on my drumming.

It was through playing in lots of jam sessions, small concerts, and attending several auditions that I built my network.

I first toured with my former Metalcore band across Europe and the UK before Pop Music became more central to my career.

I now tour with various Pop artists from Belgium, playing arena shows and large festivals.

I was also teaching at 3 schools before touring became too important and started taking up too much of my time, but I love teaching and sharing my passion for the instrument. It's not impossible that I might start again one day.

  • WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

Big crowds... I love big crowds. Even when I’m rehearsing alone in my studio, I’m already thinking about the next big gig, and it fuels me !

  • WORDS OF WISDOM FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF DRUMMERS

Don't take yourself too seriously! Things will happen for those who work hard for it! Have fun with your instrument and stay inspired!

  • FAVORITE ZILDJIAN CYMBAL/COMBO

I've tried a loooot of Zildjian cymbals, but the one I never changed in my setup is my 21" Avedis Sweet Ride! And the 14" New Beat Hi-Hat! It works everywhere, with everything, and in every genre! But more recently, the K Sweet Series is really taking things to another level!
