Riley Green

Quinn Stanphill is a musician from Florence, AL known primarily for his work with country singer-songwriter Riley Green.

Raised in a family that highly values art and self expression, Quinn began playing drums at age 4 and quickly developed a deep love for rhythm, emotion-evoking harmony, and the role music plays in one's life. His upbringing in both a musical family and musical geographical area promoted his exposure to an eclectic set of influences, from his time spent drumming in church and being involved in multiple stage productions, to playing in many local bands in the Shoals area covering a wide range of genres.

After stints with acts such as Gnarly Charlies, Follow Apollo, The Valley Roots, Cold Cold Sweats, and Red Mouth, Quinn picked up a gig with Jacksonville Alabama songwriter Riley Green in 2015 and has remained his touring drummer ever since, being a part of numerous U.S. and international tours as well as recording the live album We Out Here: Live released in 2022.

Quinn currently resides close to home in northwest Alabama.

  • WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

Individuality. Anything that exudes that quality of coming from a place of personal exploration, or the release of raw emotion or feeling - whatever that sounds like, or whoever that comes from, wherever they're reaching - that gets me going. That's the most inspiring thing to me.
