Drummer, composer and music producer. At the age of thirteen, Sallaberry studied at high school in Brazil, learning the flute and musical theory, and in the year 1978 he started to play drums. Sallaberry played in several Rock/Pop bands like Diabo Ha Quatro, Cygnus, Madame Butterfly, Bangkok Band and others.
In 2002, Sallaberry started his solo career (Sallaberry & Friends), and released the albums SambaSong & Friends (2005), Samba Soft (2007), Sambatuque (2009), New Bossa and Sometimes Samba CD Box Set - 3 CDs (2011), Rhythmist (2013), Move Out (2015), Rhythm Of The Spirits and Black Box Celebration CD Box Set “ 8 CDs (2019), Sallaberry & Friends Collections (2020 - only for Japanese market - Geedes Records) and Reflections, A Soundtrack From a Movie Never Made (2021). On the recording, Sallaberry worked with several jazz musicians, including Billy Cobham, Dennis Chambers, Robertinho Silva, Arismar do Esparito Santo, Derico Sciotti, Michel Freidenson, Sandro Haick, Ed Ca´rtes, Marcos Romera, Derico Sciotti, Daniel DAlca¢ntara and many others.
