Stan Lynch is an American musician, songwriter and record producer. He is a Hall of Fame drummer and founding member of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. His drumming can be heard on recordings by Don Henley, Stevie Nicks, Jackson Browne, John Mellencamp, The Eurythmics, Aretha Franklin, Del Shannon, Bob Dylan, T-Bone Burnett and The Byrds.
His songwriting credits include Don Henley, Ringo, Jeff Healey, The Eagles, Tim McGraw, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, Roger McGuinn, The Byrds, The Mavericks, Toto, Steve Lukather, Sister Hazel, Eddie Money, The Knack, Olivia Newton-John, Freedy Johnston, Rita Coolidge and The Immediate Family.
