Tristan Banks

Born in Brighton and based in London, Tristan Banks is one of the only UK players that is equally accomplished on both drum kit and latin percussion at an international level. He has performed and recorded with a host of jazz, latin, funk and rock names, including Guy Barker, Roy Ayers, Carleen Anderson, Hamish Stuart, Andy Sheppard, Jim Mullen, Terry Callier, Snowboy, Armando Peraza, Byron Wallen, Steve Howe and David Gilmour amongst many others, and has taught both drum and latin percussion technique at MIT London, Drumtech and numerous workshops and clinics.
