Yoran Vroom started with music at a young age. He studied drums with Surinamese/Dutch drummer Eddy Veldman and percussionist Ponda O'Bryan. Vroom graduated at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2013. Yora n is active on the Dutch/European jazz music scene. He currently works with internationally known artists Frank McComb and Ed Motta, and continues to freelance as a session musician. Further associations, some ongoing, are Kinga Glyk, Cory Henry, Snarky Puppy, Allan Harris, Max Merseny, Reggie Washington, Frank Gambale, Kuno Schmidt, Jimmy Haslip, Scott Kinsey, Benjamin Herman, Pablo Nahar and many others.
